"I LOVE training with Alex! I started training a little over a year ago, and the differences I see are so encouraging and exciting. Before I started training, my exercise routine consisted of walking/jogging. I was not able to hold a plank or do pushups. A day of gardening would leave me with muscle pain. The circuit training we do for an hour 3 times a week is perfect for me. I can now hold planks, do pushups, and so much more than I ever thought possible. I am stronger, more toned, and more flexible. With Alex’s guidance and supervision our group works hard but has fun doing it. I cannot thank Alex enough and certainly recommend him to anyone!"
One of the missing links in sports training programs is program design. A successful program design includes pre-season, in-season, off-season, and post-season training cycles. Additionally, a periodization model should be applied to each program implemented so as to increase the effectiveness of the outcomes. In other words, you shouldn't be performing the same training regime during the in-season as well the off-season. Furthermore, you shouldn't be performing the same sets, reps, & load intensity during the same cycle! These variables need to be constantly changing in order for the body to adapt to the stresses place upon it.
