Welcome! (Again): Restored notion of blogging
For those of you who recall, I started a blog a few years ago, while I was in chiropractic school. I ended up entering only a few entries before getting swamped with exams, a baby, more exams... and more babies..
Recently, I have been rejuvenated by the blogging culture. Along with this restored notion of blogging, I realized I needed to update/modify my own blog to keep up with everything that is going on in my life. I will begin posting regular entries (some longer than others) about health and athletic related topics. Additionally, I will announce upcoming events and workshops that I will be hosting at my practice.
This past weekend, I finished up my second-to-last Sports Acupuncture & Dry Needling seminar. It is a part of a 100 hour program that is geared at the approaches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as well as Trigger Point Dry Needling (TPDN) strategies of treating sports related aches and pains. My next entry will be a helpful differentiation between the two approaches so that there is a clear understanding between a provider that practices "acupuncture" and/or "dry needling" therapies. It is important to know and comprehend the differences, for your peace of mind, but also your wallet.
