Dr. Earl specializes in helping athletes & active individuals overcome injuries in order to become the best version of themselves in their sport or event. Period.
By understanding competitive sports at all levels, Dr. Earl provides a unique approach which has achieved remarkable results since 2015, when the clinic first opened. This approach is called patient-centered and is hyper-focused on your goals.
Dr. Earl founded AHR Clinic with the intention of every patient receiving unrivaled 1-on-1 focused care. Providers map out a specific plan of action for each patient which cultivates remarkable results and avoids the most common frustrations in healthcare - wasting time & money.

Hundreds of active individuals, not just athletes on a team sport, have come to AHR Clinic in Carol Stream searching for more answers, guidance and a plan of action to help their specific needs. Patients have driven as far as 3.5 hours for appointments because of this unrivaled experience in our office.
Dr. Earl's interests include his relentless pursuit of learning, soccer, running, Liverpool FC and, most importantly, spending quality time with his wife and their four children. His family are active members at Church of the Resurrection in Wheaton.

Dr. Amaro helps people continue to do what they love, and supports their health goals through a tailored treatment plan. Her goal is to not only provide immediate relief, but provide guidance towards optimal health. She is certified in Acupuncture and the McKenzie Method to incorporate in her treatment approach.
Dr. Amaro earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in 2020. She is currently a resident at West Chicago, IL. In her spare time, Dr. Amaro enjoys spending time with family/friends, at the gym, or playing soccer. She looks forward to serving the community and expanding support to the Latino community.

Dr. Ryan Gavin helps active individuals get back to doing what they love.
Dr Gavin has obtained certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Functional Movement Screening (FMS), Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, University of Pittsburgh’s Primary Spine Practitioner (PSP) program, and has completed the 100 hour acupuncture program through the Midwest Rehabilitation Institute.
This knowledge allows him to utilize various methods of active and passive treatment to help people of all ages stay active and able to participate in the activities that they love. Outside of the office, Dr. Gavin enjoys spending time with family, playing golf and softball, learning jiu jitsu, and keeping up with the ins and outs of Chicago sports.
Operations Manager
Caroline York grew up in West Chicago, IL as the youngest of 5. After attending Wheaton Academy she went on to receive her BA from Taylor University in flute performance. Caroline has held a number of different positions during and since college ranging from the Music Director of WTUR, to managing a restaurant before finding her home as a member of the Earl team. She began working for Dr. Earl in June of 2020 and is currently the Operations Manager for both Midwest Rehabilitation Institute and Active Health and Restoration.
She enjoys writing music and spending as much time with her nieces and nephews as humanly possible. You can find her most weekends performing either alone or as the singer for the jazz band, Vintage.
